Dr. Jessica Davies, DMD

Dr. Jessica Davies is originally from Saskatoon. She completed her general dentistry training at the University of Saskatchewan and obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2014. She joined Dr. Kudryk and Wilson at the now Botanical Dental office that same year. Dr. Davies took over the practice at Louise Avenue as a partner in 2023. She enjoys striking up a conversation with a patient and completing procedures involving fillings, crowns, and bridges.

Dr. Davies is married to Alan, a Research Technician at Agriculture Canada. Together they have two sons, Grayson and Locklin. Outside of work, you will find her being a busy hockey mom or caring for her beautiful golden retrievers Snow and Fox. In her downtime, she enjoys the latest Marvel movie and battling the boys in a game of Mario, Zelda, or Halo. Dr. Davies is a talented pianist and violinist. She comes from a close knit family that primarily resides in Saskatoon.

Dr. Kelly Kudryk, DMD

Dr. Kelly Kudryk is originally from Saskatoon. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1986. In addition, he studied Oral Pathology at the University of Western Ontario from 1990 to 1993. Dr. Kudryk is a retired member of the Canadian Military where he served from 1982 till 1990. Following his dental training, he was posted at the Cold Lake Canadian Forces Base, as well as CFB Wainwright and Suffield. Following his time in the military and oral pathology studies, Dr. Kudryk worked at the Foothills Hospital and Tom Baker Cancer center in Calgary treating cancer, immunocompromised, disabled, and elderly patients until 1997. He then joined the practice that is now Botanical Dental. At the time it was named Nutana Dental Group and he practiced alongside Drs. Syl Sawa and Jim Wilson before taking over as principal dentist and owner in 2009. 

Dr. Kudryk has spent time serving on council for the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. For over 20 years, he was actively involved in the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Dentistry program in various roles such as a lecturer, program director, and instructor in the disciplines of endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral pathology. 

Outside of the clinic, you will find Dr. Kudryk spending time with his wife Joanne (General Dentist), daughters Analise (General Surgery Resident) and Sophie (Clinical Psychology PhD candidate), and grandson Russell. He also plays trombone and percussion in the Stone Frigate Big Band and stays active cycling, kayaking, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing. Dr. Kudryk has a keen interest in art, photography, and astronomy.

Dr. Blake Mitchell, DMD

Dr. Blake Mitchell was born and raised in Kronau, SK. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2014. Following graduation, he practiced as a general dentist in several small towns as well as Regina and Saskatoon. He enjoys performing surgical procedures and learning about what makes his patients unique.

Dr. Mitchell completed additional training and received his Certificate in Adult Education. He has spent time as a clinical faculty member at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Dentistry where he instructed and evaluated student’s clinical performance.

Dr. Mitchell is married with two children. His wife, Renee is an elementary school teacher and they have two sons, Hugh and Henrik. When not on dad duty, you can find Dr. Mitchell spending time at the lake, on the golf course, or competing in a cycling or running event. He enjoys meeting great people and going for walks with his family.
